Initially inspired by Greek Goddess marble statues, the project developed into Deus ex Machina- 'God from the machine'. Translating deus ex machina into English, it would be "god from our hands" or "god that we make", implying that the device of said 'god' is entirely artificial or conceived by men. Why do people visualise 'Gods and Goddesses' in the eternal form of human beings. Does this imply their ideal immortal self image?
